Course Description
This course has been designed for anyone who is new to or needs a brush up on the basics of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Additionally, the course describes how the Child Study Team (CST) determines if a student is eligible for special education and related services, and, once identified, how an Individualized Education Program (IEP) is developed to address the student’s learning profile. This is ideal for paraprofessionals, teachers, case managers, or administrators who want to be confident in working with special education populations.
