My name is Amanda and I am a Registered Dietitian with a very strong passion for serving children healthy and delicious meals. I started off my career doing clinical nutrition work for nursing homes and long-term care facilities, but quickly decided to pursue a career in Child Nutrition so that I can apply my knowledge in nutrition and my experience in food service in order to better serve our future generations! I have worked in the food service industry for 7 years now (both in commercial and school nutrition settings), and I am a new Child Nutrition Director who is very much looking forward to learning as much as possible from this course!
