The Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) makes up the largest unrestricted funding source for most California school districts. It is extremely important that those responsible for its calculation, understanding the budget and how to estimate and project this revenue source. This course will walk you through the LCFF Calculator as developed by the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT). Your presenter, Rick Jensen, has utilized this calculator since its inception in 2013-14 and will guide you through the different tabs and fields to complete, where to gather the information, and how to ensure the accuracy of your work.
